Who gains from all these Unicorns?
Dear Reader, have you been following the Unicorn championship in the startup world? Week after week, startups are trying to outrun each in the race to gain the highest funding and the esteemed billion-dollar unicorn valuation! Should I dare call it a mare-athon?

Have you ever gone skiing?
Dear Reader,
Have you ever gone skiing?
10 min deliveries. The need of the hour?
Dear Reader, do you remember the time when we used to have 12-hour power cuts? For some, it was the most frustrating event of their lives and for some, it was a reason for another card game. Recently, I realized that today’s gen alpha (psst, I feel so old 🙍) live in an age of constant and instant availability which makes them have a patience level of the size of a peanut 💁
This makes sense for such popularity gain of QCommerce. We’re living in the age of 10 minutes delivery and 5 minutes cab expectations 😨. Every big league startup is trying to get their hands dirty with this. You might have heard of the recent announcement by Zomato and how they’ll enter the 10 minutes delivery space via Zomato Instant.
Are you a jack of all trades?
Dear Reader, did you have a splendid Holi weekend? While I landed up in the pink city which was a blasting, colorful experience. Holi is a small highlight of my ongoing trip to Jaipur. The city is filled with culture, tradition, and lastly generational businesses; a few of which really peaked my “Startup Keeda”. You’ll find endless self-made businesses (generational and new) with no external funding. One of them is “Gulab Ji Chaiwala”. Started with a small cart in 1947, it is over 70 years old and now is one of the most famous ‘Chai’ places in Jaipur. What’s special about this place is the fact that they never had a single penny invested from outside.
This brings us to this week’s Short Take section where we are celebrating the lesser-known bootstrapped start-ups that have been sneakily making their way to the top but barely get any media recognition!
